Where do you think is the best resort for families is in St Lucia?

Earlier this year a friend went on a celebratory family holiday in St Lucia and by the sound of it had a wonderful 2 weeks enjoying the Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa and the Caribbean sun. She travelled with husband and two young children. Having asked her what she thought, she was kind enough to write a little review, she says:

"I absolutely loved Coconut Bay!!!

There are 2 sides to the complex - "Splash" which has 3 pools (1 small), 3 water slides, kids club (which is massive & has its own splash park), jacuzzi. The other side is "Harmony"

which is adults only & has a spa, 1 pool (lovely sun beds here) and a jacuzzi & 1 adults bar.

All other restaurants, bars, beach & entertainment is done in the middle ground which is where all splash area is.

Harmony was so so quiet - I didn't like it as I like a bit of noise - but Harmony adult guests can go wherever they like but kids cannot go into harmony side. 2 of the restaurants only allow kids for 45 mins per evening & upstairs, the bar is adults only & there's an adults only restaurant - so people can get away from kids if they prefer.

We stayed when it was fully booked yet it's over such a large area it's just not busy!!

Rooms are basic but nicely decorated, clean and beds are comfy.

The staff are amazing, friendly, happy & they're are just brilliant.

Definitely book tours at the hotel - the people they use are amazing & you get a smaller trip. We had a minibus to ourselves for island tour,

botanical gardens, waterfall, volcano, dolphin/whale trip, deep sea fishing.

The island is beautiful!!

The only downside is it's fairly windy (I liked a breeze but outside dining was interesting), the beach has sooo much turtle grass but if u get past that u can snorkel (sea is warm) & because it's all rain forrest u do get showers throughout the day - but they last - only a minute or 2!

All the restaurants were amazing & the cocktails were yummy! I recommend the dirty banana!!

Can u tell that I loved this place??? It's fab & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!! Great for families but could be an adults only holiday if u prefer.

It's not even 5 mins from airport but only 2/3 planes out per day so it's nice to not have a long journey after flight.

I would def go back here & probably more than once!! "

There is a fantastic family offer on at this hotel at the moment with a massive saving of up to £2,060 per family!

Based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing, for 7 nights All Inclusive, including flights and transfers and travelling between 2nd May and 24th June 2016 (there's a half term in there too) you can go from only £859pp!
